讲题: 常见肝病的防治

肝病是危害亚裔人群健康的常见疾病。例如在中国大陆，乙型肝炎人口为9700万；丙型肝炎人口为1000万. 另外，大约 10-15% 人群患脂肪肝病。 这些肝病和很多其它肝病都可导致肝硬化和肝癌。认识这些疾病的有关症状，危险因素，及进展可提高我们对这类疾病的警觉，提醒我们的家庭医生做有关的检查，争取早期诊断，看肝病专科医生，接受及时有效的治疗，预防晚期并发症的发生。

講師胡克勤医师简介:

胡克勤医师毕业于武汉同济学院医疗系。现任尔湾加州大学(UCI) 医学中心，肝病服务中心主任, 内科教授。自 2000 年起，胡医师兼任华中科技大学同济医学院客座教授。

胡医师长期从事肝病的临床诊断与治疗，临床研究及教学，包括病毒性肝炎及肝癌分子病毒学及诊断，自然病程及预后的临床研究，新药的临床试验，及肝癌的化学预防的实验研究。他曾发表七十多篇临床及基础医学论文，包括发表于美国科学院院报(PNAS)，临床研究杂志(JCI)，等著名杂志。另外发表五十多篇综述及中英文肝病教科书的章节，一百多篇在学术会议交流并发表的论文摘要。胡医师受邀担任数种国际医学杂志的编委及副编辑，他也曾为数种英文医学杂志担任特邀编辑，出版肝病专集。

胡医生将以其行医肝病三十多年的经验，介绍有关的医学知识，常见肝病的诊断，及治疗进展，回答听众的有关问题。

Liver disease is a common disease harmful to the health of Asians for long time. For example, in China, an estimated total population of 97 million suffer from hepatitis B; and about 10 million people suffer from hepatitis C. In addition, about 10-15% of the Chinese population suffer from fatty liver disease. These and many other liver diseases can lead to liver cirrhosis and liver cancer. Understanding these diseases and the related symptoms, risk factors, and progress will increase our vigilance to these diseases, reminding us to contact the family doctor and checking for early diagnosis of liver disease. It also helps liver specialists find, receive and give prompt and effective treatment, as well as prevent late complications.

Dr Hu is practicing liver disease treatment for over thirty years, with aboundent experiences, information about medical knowledge, common liver disease diagnosis and treatment progress. He can answer related questions from you and the audience.）
